A drink for the newlyweds! Tradition!

As a asian bengali when u have newlyweds come over for lunch/dinner for the first time its standard to give a drink made out of cream and milk with sugar in it, some ppl make it jus milk and sugar so it realy depends how u wanna do it... Now don't ask me the reason why and whats the reason behind it because i have no i idea i have just seen it in weddings and my mum do it..

My newly weds cousins came round for dinner the other day and i thought ill have a go making the special drink!

I wanted to make it different and more elegant so i made the milk pink to change it up put cream at the top to give it contrast and a few flakes of almond at the top! I put the drink in ikea glasses that i found mum had hidden away lol and hey presto my drinks were done!!

They looked lovley!! What do u think?!

Cheap brow kit

After watching persian babes favourites on youtube i came across her mentioning a product

Brow kit by beauty uk
It has 3 brown eyebrow colour shadows light to a dark brown and it has a wax in it too and a tweezers

I love using it with my smashbox angled brow brush...

The kit is really cheap and handy to have!

Available in all superdrug stores!

Makeup used on a daily basis

These are the makeup products i use on a daily basis, i basically emptied out my makeup bag contents!

I always use alot concealer as i have alot of dark cirlces macs studio fix and select cover do the trick and i love putting maybellines fit me to brighten my eye area up!

For foundation i love my studio fix powder as a everday wear

Mascara i like to layer if i think one mascara doesnt do the job!
Rimmel brand mascaras i love more then the loreal...

I switch my lippies and blush up to try and use my different makeup brands..

Ps

I

Mac Retro Matte Collection

So i know this collection has been out a while now i just had time to check out reviews and blog posts on it recently and when i went to order the Mac website was completely sold out of the lipsticks!!!!

If i ever find things sold out on the website i always check out Debenhams House of fraser or Selfridges because you will have a chance of finding something on one of those websites!

Some of the lipsticks are pastel shades eg Steady going and runaway hit others are a bright pink/plumy colour eg flat out fabulous and all fired up!

I personally got myself all fired up and flat out fabulous after reading countless blog reviews and researching weather it would suit my skintone.. ( for ref i am a nc30/35 skintone) light bengali colour =)

Also the poster with the lady with the hat kinda sold it to me also!!!

Have any of u lot bought the collection? what are your thoughts on it?

When my goodies are here i'll def post a blog review on how i like them =)

Ramadhan fasting update..

How is ur ramadhan going if you are fasting?!

Mine has been suprisingly going very well i havn't been that hungry just a little thirsty but that is it...

For all you who don't know what ramadhan is...

Ramadhan is a holy month for muslims where we fast dawn till dusk without any food or water, we do this to appreciate what we have and remember all those who don't have these things we take for granted eg clean water, food....

We also believe in this month we get double reward by god for good things we do so its a time to reflect in our lives and maybe encourage us to be better people and practice our religion a little better...

This year it is 18 hour fast here in london so u can imagine how hard it is..

We have one more week of ramadhan till our holy festival eid is here where we celebrate by being with family wearing nice clothes and eating lots of food hehe!!!
